Let us put your mind at ease; Emmanuel Church is a welcoming place—a place where you can experience a friendly community and grow in your faith through Sunday services or groups and clubs that meet throughout the week.
In 1825 a group of faithful Christians in Normandy, poor in this world's goods but rich in the Spirit, determined to have a place of worship - for there was then nothing of any kind or near the village. They could not afford to buy land or to pay an architect or builder; but they begged a plot on the Aldershot Road and set to work to build it with their own hands. That is the start of the story of Emmanuel Church in Normandy.

We are committed to serving God’s people locally through our church – at Film Club, Friendship Club, Take Time Group, Go Deeper Group as well as abroad through our global missions giving. There are many opportunities for you to share your gifts and talents through volunteering.

Many who have visited us in the past have commented on the warm welcome they have received and the special atmosphere of acceptance and friendliness that pervades our church.
Emmanuel URC is based in Normandy, just outside Guildford. Through worship, fellowship and service, we try to give practical expression to our Christian faith. If you need support or prayer, our minister and elders are available by telephone and email.
