Normandy
Minibus
A
new minibus was purchased in August 2009 with money raised by
members of Emmanuel church, local residents, community organisations
and local businesses and charities.
A
minibus service has been managed by Emmanuel Church since 2001,
and has become an invaluable asset and resource to the village.
The
minibus is used to take elderly and disabled residents for shopping
trips to local supermarkets, and is also used by local groups,
including Emmanuel Church, Normandy Urban Saints and Normandy
Scouts. At weekends, it is often used for special trips, mystery
tours and church awaydays and is available for use by other
local clubs and societies.
The
minibus is owned and managed by Emmanuel Church, but is driven
by a group of volunteers from the community.
To
find out more contact Clive on 01483 810560.
The
minibus is specially adapted for the elderly and disabled.
